Busy, narrow and hectic
For me the favorite drugstore. I almost always get what I need for myself, my husband and my 1 year old daughter. We really like the selection and the prices are very good. Especially through the app we sometimes save a lot on diapers.
In itself we are very satisfied with the DM. My wife has been shopping here regularly - at least once a week - for several years. However, she is now increasingly going to a different branch, as she is treated here at the checkout again and again as if she wanted to steal. Our little daughter is usually with us in the stroller, and hardly a purchase goes by without the bag under the stroller being checked by the checkout staff. The stroller and the shopping bag underneath were checked again today, as if my wife wanted to smuggle goods out of the store in it. My wife comes from South Asia and since she does not notice such behavior towards other customers, and neither do mothers who are friends have this experience, the suspicion arises that she is treated differently only because of the color of her skin. Even when I shop there with my daughter, I am never checked. We are shocked and disappointed that she has to endure something like that. Neither in the DM branch in the KTC nor in any other drugstore has it ever been comparable. We would be delighted if this problem could be raised by the branch management and eliminated in the future. Then we will come back shopping here with a good feeling.
Large assortment and nice service.
If you can not find a drugstore item, at least one cup of water from the dispenser can treat yourself.
