We were actually there to let the goldsmith build our rings according to our ideas. Dürten was likeable straight away and suggested that we could build our wedding rings ourselves. What? We? A few weeks later we found ourselves in the cute workshop of the goldsmith and made each other's wedding rings. The day was terrific. We had a lot of fun and joy and were so proud. Of course Dürten helped us and did the tricky work, but on the whole we built our wedding rings independently. Wow. We will always remember that. The feeling of having built real wedding rings out of a few strips of gold / white gold is just great. Dürten is a great teacher and a loving host. I highly recommend it. It is something very special and it is somehow romantic when you wear the ring that your loved one has forged for you ... Hach ...
