Hotel Hafen Flensburg

Very nice and beautifuly devorated 4 stats hotel overlooking the habour...had a very beautiful scene of the habour from my room window. Seemingly quiet even when its directly on the road, Very friendly Staff too. Well its not so cheap when one is used to the small budget *Imbis* ones. So we decided to spoil ourselves with this 4 stars directly on the habour mostky after reading other guests feedback and we expected better Service than we actually received. After arrival very nice welcome. They even have a cost- free parking garage. Very clean spacious rooms beautifuly decorated. But on arrival the Wellness package (bathrobe + slipers) were missing. They are supposed to be included as on their Homepage. After a request they were quickly provided On the Tv , also no englich news channels also as indicated on their Homepage. After a request we were promised with a techniker to fix it but unfortunately after the 5 day stay, nothing happened. In the room, no coffee machine or a tea maker when indoors. After a request we got a water boiler and some cups but was expected to have my own tea bags. After using the cups in the evenings and being out the whole day, the house keeping never cleaned or change the cups. On day 3 the after housekeeping and tiding up, we never got towels. After a request we got the quickly. The shower gel bottle went empty too but was never replaced until we made a request . Truly to say we got tired. We got dissapointed. We got fed up. On being asked if everything was ok with our stay during checkout on day 5, we gave our complaints only to greeted with a sorry, and it will be looked after. Ja, we are sorry too because we guess to stick to our "Imbiss* style.

Authentic and well maintained. Great location and easy access. Private parking (at a surcharge).

Nice place

Great modern hotel in the very city center of Flensborg. The theme of the hotel centers around the city's harbor and maritime history. Staff is extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The breakfast was amazing. Try to eat as much as possible. Rooms are very tidy and comfortable. The only small complaint would be that the usual hotel slippers were missing. Overall an unforgettable experience, highly recommended.
