St. Maria

The St. Marien Church was built in 1883 with a lot of work by the people of Schelborn. Due to its geographically protected location from low-flying planes, the church was also visited by residents of the surrounding areas during the Second World War, so that an extension was made by 1949. In the early 2000s, the church was again fundamentally renovated with a great deal of commitment from the population, so that it is best presented to interested parties today.
