You can also scare away your regular customers: When paying by card, the cashier would like to take the credit card in hand with the option of making contactless payments "because there were so many cases of fraud." This contradicts the recommendations to consumers for credit card security and also places all customers under general suspicion. Incidentally, a mere glance at the card is not enough to determine whether I am actually the owner, the ID card would have to be checked for this, but the staff is not authorized to do so! After it was pointed out, the lady at the cash register also became cheeky and insolent. Too bad, because I will no longer shop in this branch if my rights as a consumer are trampled on.
