Went there yesterday and wanted to inquire about a particular rose. Have been from Mr. Schimmel jun. greeted very unfriendly, according to the motto what do they want here. When we asked about an unfilled type of rose, we were immediately blown at: "We only have one and it is here. Why do you want an unfilled one?" We replied that they are more bee-friendly. Then it really started: where would we have got it from a school garden of the Walldorf school? My wife pointed out to Mr. Schimmel that we are still customers and might have expected a bit more friendly advice. Angry and very angry, he referred us to his property. My wife and I (70 years and 68 years) did not expect such treatment! In any case, we will never enter this nursery again.
