At first I was very satisfied, but the longer my horse stood there, the more dissatisfied I became ... The care of my gelding seemed to be good, because of Corona I was not allowed to visit him and unfortunately also not be present at examinations, the information was rather poor, if I had not called, you would not have contacted him several times. Over the weekend I was told nothing was happening, so I didn't have to call because there was a lot to do then, they would contact me if something happened. A "follow-up examination" was billed for Saturday and Sunday (although only diagnostics were made beforehand) - well, it's not about the money. I was told I could pick up my horse 3 days after treatment (Mon), I asked if Wednesday evening would be ok, they said "No, only Thursday". On Mondays I had to call myself to find out whether the treatment had taken place and worked, I asked again about the collection (again it was Thursday) and organized a trailer for Thursday, on Tuesday they called me I could pick it up on Wednesday. Unfortunately, I was no longer able to do this, and a "follow-up examination" was billed for Thursday (on which it was only there due to incorrect information from the clinic), and I can ignore that too. When I was picked up, I did not get a discharge report and no information as to how far it should / may be moved - not even on request and that with a horse that was in the clinic because of lameness ... HERE I see absolutely a problem! Since I did not have sufficient information, I could not continue the "follow-up" as recommended. I have to say positively that Dr. Bayer answered by phone and gave the necessary information - unfortunately too late, after all, they apologized, which at least admitted the communication error - I personally give him credit for that. Addendum: I increased from 3 to 4 stars, because after several phone calls with Dr Bayer and Dr Horstmann, the communication errors were found and apologies were made - both looked very affected and they seemed really sorry.

The symptoms were treated very well, but the cause was said to be no longer ascertainable. Without knowing the cause, the setback came right after she was released. If you had a closer look at the blood values ​​and not just the selected ones, you would have been a significant step closer. Blood had to be taken again and the cause could be found with the help of another veterinarian. And treat the horse accordingly.
