Blume 2000 Hamburg Gänsemarkt

Every season I fill my balcony with beautiful flowers. I have tried for the past two seasons to buy flowers from my neighborhood Blume 2000 at the Gänsemarkt in Hamburg. But every time I've visited that store, the service people are very rude, perhaps because of my broken German. I keep returning thinking my experience will change. Today, I returned two days after the lockdown was lifted. I was the only one in the shop. The two employees were not wearing face masks and came and stood directly next to me while I was looking at flowers inside the shop. Then for the first time, they refused to wrap my flowers after spending 100 Euro in their shop. Although I did notice that a man came in the shop after me and got his flowers wrapped. The flowers get 1 star, customer service gets a -4. Again, I tell myself this is the last time.

I arrived at the shop at 18:40, was knocking on the door for 5 minutes and got a sign to go away from a woman inside. On the question that the working hours are till 20:00 I got an answer that this week they work till 18:30. Extremely unfriendly staff, don’t recommend at all.

Staff unfortunately very unfriendly and little attention to service. When I asked gently this morning whether the seller could also tie me a bouquet, the only answer was "No, I can't." I was a little startled by such a harsh answer to a normal question. Then she says it only works when her colleague comes. I work in a service profession myself. If I gave my customers such cheeky answers, I would have a warning. Tying me may not be possible at the time, but every employee is responsible for the friendliness.

I was in the store at 19:40 and then was unkindly told that the store would close immediately. On my note that opening hours are given to 20 clock, I got the harsh answer that the store only until 19:45 clock have opened. I was virtually forced out with the words that the boss would come soon and then be closed. Not recommendable.

It is now the second time that I go to this flower shop and it is NOT possible for the employees to tie a simple bouquet of tulips !! I wonder why apparently only staff work there that flowers don't understand anything, let alone florists! .. Then at least ready-made bouquets with tulips should be available if it is not feasible to have a bouquet tied up !!! I am very disappointed because I am used to great service from Blume 2000 in Bergedorf !! Do not find it acceptable to run a branch in the middle of the city center, in which nobody seems to be able to tie an individual bouquet!
