Unfortunately, I cannot agree with the positive statements made by my predecessors. When I went shopping there, despite my request, a complete shopping bag was overlooked after paying and stayed behind the cash register. Since I was only visiting Hamburg I was unfortunately unable to pick up this shopping bag myself and called there and asked to send it forward, which was also promised. In the meantime 4 weeks have passed and I asked once a week what had happened to the package. Today I was obviously given the honor to speak to the store manager personally. I have seldom been reprimanded so unkindly. What I would actually imagine ... It is understandable that the employees are not able to send a package within 4 weeks. Conclusion: There is a lot of discussion and reporting about the dying out of business in the inner cities. After this experience at DEPOT in Hamburg, Große Bleichen, I am surprised that there are still stationary retail stores at all. Perhaps the management of the company should think about improved employee training and if the store manager of a branch is not able to behave in a customer-friendly manner, she should analyze the situation and consider changes.
