Swatch Hamburg Jungfernstieg

Very nice and very popular shop for great watches. Very kind workers.

I couldn't find what I was looking for. There was a discount on some watches, but not enough.

I love Swatch watches and collect them. I have over 70 of them and my four children each also have a small collection. We had a really bad experience in the Hamburg Jungfernstieg store yesterday with Antje, one of the staff in the store. I wanted to buy my husband a new watch yesterday. From the moment we walked in she was staring at the children as they went around excitedly pointing out the different watches in the store. This holiday, we had done this in Singapore and Paris and have already bought 6 watches within one week. Antje probably didn't realise that my husband speaks German when she yelled across the store to her colleagues - "watch those kids, they're touching everything", as if implying we were going to break or steal the watches that are on display to be touched and tried on. My husband told me what she had said and we immediately left. As we left the store she was visibly shaking her head and complaining to her colleagues as if she was trying to shame us. We have only every had positive experiences in Swatch stores and we don't feel that her attitude is in line with the fun and creative design and values that Swatch promotes. I hope this is addressed so other customers with children are not made to feel uncomfortable because of bad customer service at this store..
