The BIB itself is not bad, but the learning conditions are catastrophic. The students take no account of others, chatter all the time, eat carrots, chips, biscuits. I don't know what went wrong in bringing up these children, but I think it should be a matter of course that you have to keep your mouth shut in a library and avoid foods that cause a lot of noise. In particular, I have recently noticed group formation that previously did not exist in this constellation. It spreads as if you were at home. The purest imposition.
Excellent Medicine Library. Very complete and well organized. Excellent place to research, study and work on your thesis
October '18: In my opinion, the ÄZB is a very good library and offers a really excellent learning environment! There is certainly room for improvement (at times during the semester lack of space during the week, etc.), but clearly outweigh the benefits of being able to consistently learn here at super-good opening hours (ie daily 8-22). Since Berlin is much worse served with the 😀😄😅😊😎Bibliotheken! 😏
