Novum Hotel Kronprinz Hamburg Hauptbahnhof

A good hotel in the very center. It was clean and comfortable. Staff was OK. Breakfast was good for being in the middle of the covid crisis.

Low-Budget Hotel with simple breakfast, tidy rooms and friendly staff. However, there were first signs of mould in the silicone joints in the bathroom, stale carpets on the ground and dim lights... Thus, okay for a cheap stay, when you are only in the hotel for sleeping.

We went here for a Christmas shopping spree in Hamburg - arrived by train and the hotel is right next to the Hamburg Central Station, just perfect. God reception and service, the room was in order, no thrills, but decent for the paid price. Large room, huge bathroom, great shower, a nice large bed with good beddings, great and filling breakfast - hey, what more do you want from a discount hotel. The hotel is old, definitely has charm, and is WELL MAINTAINED which is most important. We had a great stay and would love to come back!
