BRUCE WILL ES

Last night my husband and I wanted some comfort food, so we placed an order from Bruce Will Es via Lieferando. We are both American, and most of the "American" food here in Hamburg is HORRIBLE, so we were expecting to be disappointed again. However, we were very pleasantly surprised when our food arrived! The mac and cheese and jalapeño poppers were excellent. The potato wedges, while I thought they could have been more heavily seasoned, were great. The pizza was very similar to what we would enjoy back home, and tasted very good. Unfortunately, I have to concede that the onion rings were bad (the onions inside were really mushy). The most obviously not-American thing about this restaurant is the sauce options: they're all very German! Get some Ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, and some Tabasco for real authenticity. American beer options would be great too--this restaurant offers Budweiser but the website shows the Czech brew (American Budweiser is bad anyway; we'd love a Sam Adams, Sierra Nevada, or Dogfish Head with our pizza). Overall I give Bruce Will Es an A, and we will definitely be ordering from them again. I would probably recommend, when this whole corona virus situation is over, that lovers of American food eat in the restaurant if they want the best experience. We got delivery and the food arrived hot, fresh, and smelling amazing, but when it cooled a bit the pizza got a little too chewy. I expect we'll be ordering from Bruce Will Es very soon; I already want more jalapeño poppers!

I just went at this place and... WOW 🤩🤩🤩 Staff are very gentle, environment super clean and most importantly delicious pizza 🍕 😋 I will come back for sure... Maybe tomorrow 😅👍👍
