We had great impression with our first lunch in Hamburg. The fish was so fresh and juicy inside. The other dish was so delicous with the special sauce. The waiter is very friendly and helpful also.

We stumbled upon this place and did not regret that ate there. we wanted some meat and local food and this is exactly the place for it. The food was tasty, great service. Recommend this place!

Modest restaurant, hidden a block away from the main shopping street. Absolutely no pretenses. But my god, how this contrasts with the food that is served. Good honest food made by people who care. I foolishly ate a la carte (although a stellar mixed fish fry), but should have tried one of their regional specials. If on a budget try one of their daily specials; you'll be basically robbing them.

A really lovely place for traditional German food in a nice atmosphere. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. The portion of the dishes are very good and German.
