Sonja is really a really great vet and animal health practitioner with a lot of empathy and in-depth knowledge in everything she does. Our dog (14 years) has had problems since the beginning of the year, including holding urine, and the veterinarian was unable to find anything organically. Sonja then used acupuncture and osteopathy on him and the problem went away! When the acupuncture device was not there for maintenance and Sonja could only treat it differently, the problem started again. At the next appointment she could use acupuncture again and the problem was gone again! Our dog is really ready for the treatment and can still live symptom-free in its old age! I can only warmly recommend Sonja!

I was looking for a dog osteopath for a long time and luckily I have now found it. I am very satisfied with the osteopathic treatment of my street dog by Mrs. Schirmer. My animal repeatedly suffered from pelvic and lumbar spine complaints. You know from yourself how uncomfortable that can be. My bitch's problems were resolved very gently in just 2 sessions. A big plus: Ms. Schirmer is a trained veterinarian and simply knows her way around. We feel that we are in good hands, understood and would like to recommend Mrs. Schirmer's osteopathic practice to every animal owner. I was urgently looking for a veterinarian who also offers sports medicine and rehabilitation and I found what I was looking for at Sonja. Unfortunately, my 7 year old Labbi has had a cruciate ligament tear with surgery. The clinic advised physiotherapy and I only wanted to entrust my dog ​​to a specialist. Since then we have been regularly training in the underwater treadmill and also for the Equitron therapy. The successes are great. Our sweetheart is much fitter again, muscles have been built up. My dog ​​is now pain-free without medication. Before that we had to give some painkillers - the result was an irritated stomach. We are sooooo incredibly grateful to Sonja. Sonja is a great vet and therapist. She has her heart in the right place - is very reliable and personable. The location of the practice is very central and perfect for us. I can only recommend it to everyone. For us, Sonja is now the first address for all musculoskeletal disorders, where rehabilitation is required, or if you don't want to "just" use conventional methods (painkillers).
