I had a horrible experience with the staff at Buchbinder in Bonn. We arrived on a Sunday morning to collect a car we had booked, the three men waiting for us were highly unwelcoming, making fun at us because we were foreigners and we didn't speak any German and not trying to make any sort of effort. It was the first time in my life that I experienced such racism towards myself. My friend and I (I'm French and she is Brazilian) were shocked and sad to have experience this. Would really not recommend renting a car from Buchbinder in Bonn and I will never rent a car from this company again.

Inexpensive but service is also pethatic most cars are ford or Opel cheap cars

The staff are old, grumpy and rude. If you are not a German, you better take your business to the other Buchbinder locations - the other ones are much better than this one headed by greasy old chaps. You can look at the other reviews and identify that it is highly rated by the locals but not so much by expats. Besides, if you go to their facebook page, you will find out that they have turned off the "Posts by others" and "Reviews" section. But if you scroll through the photos, you will find vehicles of Buchbinder making their appearances in various xenophobic rallies.

Extremely rude staff who refused to speak English. If you're a foreigner and don't speak German I would recommend paying more and going with ANY other rental car company.
