I actually wanted to buy new speakers from audioWave today, but instead just lost a lot of time ...
The opening times are not correct! The shop is currently open from 12 noon. Not as stated on the homepage or on google from 10 a.m. It was very annoying because I hit it shortly after 10 am. Updating opening times online is really no big deal!
So after completing my daily tasks, back to audioWave. It was about 3pm. But the door was still locked, no one in the shop. In the workshop in the back, an employee informed me that the boss was on his way and should be back in 25 to 30 minutes. I came back around 3:45 p.m. and the shop was still closed. Unfortunately, the employee in the workshop did not try to help me, e.g. by calling the boss and asking how much longer it will take. I couldn't reach anyone on the landline number at the store.
So in good hope I waited until 4 p.m., when the boss actually drove up. But instead of coming to the front of the shop, he stayed in the back of the workshop. I waited a good 5 minutes, after which I lost my desire. I don't want to and won't run after anyone.
As far as audioWave's expertise is concerned, I cannot share any experience. My experience is aimed at the public image and customer service as I experienced it today. Therefore, unfortunately, only a single star.
I recommend the Audiowave team with a clear conscience. From the advice on a radio for my Twingo 3 to the installation, everything works great and smoothly. Super nice contact, professionally well positioned. Conclusion "customer-friendly and service-oriented".
Youngtimer fans are also in good hands here:
In my 1991 Golf Cabrio I wanted invisible sound and DAB + and a speakerphone.
Now I have a Blaupunkt Bremen in the old optical guise, but with all the latest equipment, such as DAB +, SD, 2xUSB, Bluetooth streaming, telephone.
AudioSystem speakers were installed in the original places, behind the original grilles of course. The AudioSystem 4-channel power amplifier is located under the driver's seat.
I am enthusiastic about the price-performance ratio and, above all, the original look, because that was the most important thing to me.
So: very recommendable
I install my system myself. The advice is just great. I find the knowledge astonishing, since there are a hell of a lot of vehicle manufacturers and I was always given perfect advice. The staff are always friendly and happy to explain twice or three times so that you really understand what you are installing and how you can best use it. If you ask, you will and can be helped. The hardware offered has its price, but it is also top. Can only utter a mega praise. Keep it up.
Amateurs at work
Three years ago I had a radio installed there, now the digital radio no longer works. I also wanted a new antenna for the analog radio. Appointment made and then the drama started. For almost an hour and a half the radio was turned off and reinstalled, I was told the radio was defective. I was offered a new one for about 500 €, so I wanted to wait and see. The antenna I ordered didn't fit, so an hour and a half were sacrificed for nothing.
For the non-result, I should also pay over 100 €. As a goodwill gesture, we agreed on 100 euros. The bill was, oddly enough, made out to 80 euros, which I only noticed later.
After doing some research on the Internet, it turned out that the radio only needed a reset. So briefly reset the radio and everything was wonderful again. The alleged workshop probably never thought of that.
I took the trouble to go back and point out this mistake to you. Result: no excuse, no offer to give the money back, but insist that everything has already been done correctly. The "Masters of the Universe" are apparently unable to learn. In the end, you got sloppy.
What remains - never there again. And I'm still annoyed today that I also paid € 100 for this dilettantism. Anyone can make mistakes, but then you learn from them, correct yourself and apologize to the customer.
