Hardtberg? More like Fartberg!

I was an english exchange student and the only thing that I can say about the school is : Nice cafeteria

Nice school. I like the cafeteria

I did my Abitur there myself. High degree of diversity. Students of various origins. The teachers are fair in giving grades even if they don't necessarily share your opinions and views. I have not experienced any discrimination on the part of teachers. Only limited on the part of the students. However, this cannot always be avoided, no matter which school you attend. Unfortunately, it should be noted that this school, like probably other schools, may promote diversity outwardly. However, this school is also subject to ideological harmonization and limited promotion of creativity and individual skills. But in spite of ideological differences, I did not experience any discrimination with regard to the awarding of grades. The latest political developments and the effects on educational institutions and social institutions will probably also have left their mark on the HBG. A decline in tolerance towards Muslims who practice is to be expected. I saw the beginnings of these developments towards the end of my school days, shortly before graduation.

I still give 5 stars, but it shouldn't hide the fact that this school has lost something of its old glory, I know the great potential of this school and hope that this will be recognized and implemented again. So that it can shine again as a leading grammar school with an all-round good reputation in Bonn. The HBG has brought out some great thinkers and scientists in the past, and this should be remembered and worked towards again.
