Had a confirmed booking with them, received a call on the day of the booking telling me that they have no cars left. What the...?

It's not easy to reach the place but the service and cars are fine

The station with its employees does a good job and deserves 5 stars. All employees are very nice and helpful. The station can be contacted by phone (does not apply to all Avis stations) and the car was clean and ready to drive. If it wasn't for Avis, I'd be ready to rent here again. Avis has such a bad customer support that it is really daunting to rent it again or to be able to recommend the service to others. The pick-up fee for my rental was more expensive than the car itself. You can save the money right away and have the car picked up from your destination before driving, so you save the rent and even have a chauffeur. Couple of negative experiences I had with Avis: - many phone numbers on the website or those you get from stations and support do not work - Emails to the support come back with automatically generated empty "deadline promise" (request is processed within 10 days), about which the support does not even know - Forwarding in the phone call does not always work, the connection simply breaks off - Emails from support do not have a signature with company imprint (simply shows that no contact is wanted here) - in general, everything is always postponed until later and then again My case could have been solved simply by sending me an explanation and a new invoice. But that is probably not possible. Just for information: of course, I understand the points "many inquiries" and "coronavirus" but this then continues for 2 months without success, I can no longer muster any understanding for that. Avis completely failed in terms of its support in my case - a shame!
