Laudenbach. A neighboring village of Hemdbach. Great cycling and walking routes. Despite the large sleeping area of the metropolitan area, the town has a lot of surprises. The town has a very compact building. The problem with moving the car. Medieval street. The narrow streets. The great attraction are the well-tended local monuments. Residential houses with a Prussian wall. Trunks from the end of the 19th century in the Town Hall from the beginning of the twentieth century Catholic church of St. Bartholomew. Evangelical church.Zabytak.Unfortunately closed. You can not see them from the inside. And pity.I am personally fascinated by the old architecture so it is a treat for a skilled oka.Polecam.😊❤️

The church is very old but very nicely decorated. The Glasdecko looked very nice and I personally always look at the Decko because it looks very good.

The Laudenbacher village church was first mentioned in 1238 and rebuilt several times in the meantime. The last major renovation was carried out in 1936 in the style of the time. After 300 years of the Simultankirche, it was renamed the "Martin Luther Kirche" and redesigned in the sense of the Luther Word "a stronghold is our god". This is particularly noticeable in the glass windows on which the donors are listed with specially created coat of arms. The gallery could also be from a medieval castle. Instead of a then usual high pulpit, the front elevated part of a beautiful sandstone balustrade was framed. Here the left side is used as a pulpit and the right one houses the baptismal font. In between, there is a wide stairway to the altar made of quartzite mined in Laudenbach. Above it, a curve is arched with the inscription of the Luther Word. Overall, a harmonious overall picture. Directly in front of the balustrade on the right side is a memorial window for the fallen soldiers of the First World War. This was designed with Nazi slogan and national emblem. The congregation expressly points out that this is a drastic reminder and warning sign of a lost mindset that has not even stopped at the church. Some would like to remove the balustrade and alterations of 1936 by redesigning the church interior. I say: who has removed eyewitnesses no longer witnesses!
