Stein Autoservice

Such a great experience! I’ve lived here for several years and this is by far the best mechanic experience I’ve had. This shop got me in quickly, had amazing customer service, and graciously answered all my questions and concerns honestly. I called several other shops in the area to compare prices and labor and these guys were beyond fair. The price I ended up paying even came out lower than what they originally quoted me at. My car runs smoothly, and sounds like new. I highly recommend this shop over going to other places, particularly base, where the prices are higher and the quality of service is lacking. Thank you guys!!

I usually don't review places but this one really stood out! When I first moved to Germany, my car didn't pass inspection, so I took it to the nearest place, Diller. They charged me 300 euro to basically clean my car for inspection. Absolutely terrible. They also told me to come back for a thousand other things they noticed after inspection. My father was a mechanic so I know the difference between a shop that wants to help and a shop that wants to squeeze as much money out of you as possible. A coworker recommended Stein and I couldn't be happier. I've taken both cars here and am always called with an estimate instead of them doing whatever then charging an insane amount. The mechanic doesn't create problems, but tells me that my brakes are fine and don't need changing out. They gave me a great price for new tires and are very prompt and polite. The receptionist speaks great english and knows how to fill out a VAT form. They even gave me a 20 euro coupon off my next service with them. I recommend Stein to everyone.

I have been here many times and they have great service, very friendly staff. Their prices are fair enough. Appointments are flexible and they will work with you. They will notify you on anything that needs to be brought up before, during, and/or after service. These guys are always busy so don't always expect on top maintenance fixes. They do a great job when they fix it. They speak English, take CC, and allow VAT forms. I reccomend folks come here if they need maintenance on their cars.

I was a walk in appointment. My car was seen promptly and assessed very quickly. The repair to my exhaust was done in a decent amount of time and for a reasonable amount. They were all very helpful, timely, and efficient. Great job Gerald!
