Remains of the start of a Roman aquaduct that carried water to Cologne. Still working. They broke up parts of the system to build a train line. This vandalism however gives great windows into the way the thing was build almost 2000 years ago. 🌟 🌟 🌟🌟🌟 for history fans. Less for if you are not into old stuff!

It is interesting to see that long ago the Romans already had a watercourse here. Too bad we couldn't find the Roman road. The nature in the area is also worthwhile.
