DO NOT go to Mom’s (Frame shop) on base for custom frames!! Please. I paid $150 for a frame for my wedding picture. My husband picked it up and brought it home. It had a large chip on it along with red color pencil on the matte. I called yesterday and was told to bring it in to get replaced however this morning was emailed and told they will not replace the frame as it was not their fault and possibly shifted in the car. (The location of chip makes this physically impossible to have hit anything while driving since it was laying flat and didn’t move from the middle of the floor). He said because my husband signed for it (which yes, I’m mad he didn’t check), there’s nothing they will do unless I pay for another frame. He said they inspected it and were happy with the job that went out the door. So apparently colored lines on the matte is acceptable along with large dents. But hey, if they’re happy with that kind of work then who am I to say it looks bad 🤷🏻‍♀️ INCREDIBLY disappointed is an understatement. Please anyone who has something special they want framed, DO NOT GO TO MOM’s!!!
