Excellent quality ales, especially love the table beer. Got a tour of the brew room and some insights into the process! Also a lovely location, just outside Hamburg. Will definitely be back :)

Ian Faulkner is a friend, but I nevertheless believe he makes world class pale ales. They have a deft focus, purity of taste and clarity of concept which I find lacking from most other German brewers who make these styles. To make an analogy with wines, these are the Mosel Rieslings of pale ales, the real Großes Gewächs. I am very grateful for his mentoring, which has been a significant factor in the success of Alles Elbe's beers.
