A good place for some afternoon drink. Though the lavatories could take a renewal
Terrible bar. Me and my friends were treated in a very impolite way and discriminated against. The owner had a problem with us, but we didn’t really understand why. We tried to talk with him, but he didn’t want to. Maybe because of language issues, we didn’t realize that he didn’t want us there and we stayed longer. But sooner we realized that the waitress was ignoring us and someone else told us that the owner wanted us out of there. I am still trying to understand what happened... why he didn’t want us there. But discrimination was very clear. Therefore, it is a horrible place to go.

The Marktmühle impresses with its large selection of imported beers from the British Isles and from the Czech Republic on tap (which are accordingly somewhat more expensive than usual), a huge selection of whiskeys and other spirits and the quick and super friendly service. Smokers must go to the door. In summer, outdoor seating is set up in the passage to the market and on the market itself. Then you can also order food there (that comes from Altjena). For the start of a pub crawl, a regular table or even the after-work beer only recommended.
