Wine shops and cellars can be found in Cochem like sand by the sea. We visited many. Sometimes you weren't even greeted by the staff with the time of day, let alone asked if you could help.
In this wine shop it's very different. We were warmly welcomed by an older employee and were able to test some wines. Then I bought 2 types in a pack of 6 and will definitely reorder them online!
But we will definitely come back again. Great selection and a very competent employee.
As far as we can tell, wines are unsuitable for connoisseurs under 70 years of age. Service not only does not take place, but makes use of a jargon which - if you didn't know better - might have completed the training course somewhere in the former GDR. It's definitely not worth stopping here. And you can definitely find beautiful wines elsewhere. Unfortunately, minus stars don't work, this business definitely deserves them, minus 10.
I had already contacted him by email, who was very nice and I liked it a lot. We received good advice in the shop and tried a little. It is really worth it and I would be happy to support the small winegrowers who still have everything from a single source
