When we arrived at the store, we saw how a group of about 5 people were turned away from the house by an old matron in a very unfriendly manner ("back there, that's the exit"). When asked whether the wine could be tasted: "No. And if other stores do that, then that's their problem." Such things are of course the best reason never to go to the store again!

In cold weather and a tour of Cochem, we saw on the door an offer about baked apple punch which we wanted to perceive quickly resolved. In the shop we were greeted with a gruff "Can you help". (Note: It was the 2nd Christmas holiday) On the question of my daughter, if there was something non-alcoholic we got the answer that you were not coffee. We would get that next door! The baked apple punch was heated in a microwave. Apparently one wanted to sell bottles rather than cups. During our visit, we also found dealing with other customers as rude. The two ladies had a bad mood! All in all, we will probably never stop there !!!!

Unbelievably unfriendly. It gives the impression that one does not want to sell at all. We did not do that either. Irritated, I also found that the champagne was touted at least on the signs in the shop, as champagne.

Excellent wines, good selection. The staff are very nice, helpful and competent. Not for nothing have I come to Göbel-Schleyer again and again for several years.

Friendly staff, wide choice of very tasty wines and accessories. We will not leave the Moselle without having been here!
