Our first stopover, on our first trip to Germany and we had the warmest of welcomes from these guys, and some delicious wines too. We sampled and learnt about the different wines they produce and sell, and we bought a few for our onward journey. We had such a good night we decided to stay an extra night, just so we could test some more. We weren't disappointed. Despite the language barrier (we really should brush up on our GCSE German for our next trip) we cannot fault the lovely warm welcome we received, and of course the delicious wines. We'll definitely call in for some more of the red peach stuff, next time we are in the area, as we really didn't buy enough!

We had a spontaneous, great and very personal wine tasting at the winery in Poltersdorf. The quality of the wines seems to be great because most of the varieties were already sold out. All tasted very good. The host told us a lot about the wines and traditional viticulture. In the end we took some bottles with us and are looking forward to drinking them at home. We would love to come back.

Simply quaint and warm. The owners are great, we felt very comfortable. However, our wine supply has increased significantly.
