Very family-friendly church, lots of social activities possible. A very understanding pastor.

During the Reformation many neighboring communities became Protestants, but Bernkastel and Kues remained Catholic. It was only in the 19th century that the number of Protestant Christians grew, essentially after 1850 due to the relocation of Prussian civil servants families. According to church law, Bernkastel-Kues belonged to the parish of Mülheim an der Mosel.
