A beautiful German hotel with great food and wine. We had a rustic double superior bedroom with a refurbished bathroom, old polished wooden floors, old black exposed beams. Room was clean and smell fresh. Our room was in this building opposite the checkin building with only 3 bedrooms. Our room faced the road both in front and side thus can be noisy. We had a view of the vineyard in the slopes to compensate. The majority of the restaurant staff are Indonesia on apprenticeship. They are very efficient, friendly, super helpful. They recommended the main course and wine for both nights! They did well. Book for dinner very popular. The hotel also organizes tours in their cool VW van. As the streets are narrow, we parked at the open free parking by the river and walk 5mins. My favorite vineyard Dr Loosen was 10mins down the road 😀 Overall: A good stay in a beautiful part of Mosel Valley.

Great food and nice atmosphere. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful even though the restaurant was packed.

We were given rooms away from the main hotel in a separate building that seemed a bit like serviced apartments. Very comfortable rooms with great salvaged curios, this room had a full sized bank vault in it! Dinner was excellent, 5 course tasting dished were inspired but a bit small. Most amazing buffet breakfast ';ve had in Europe. Superb variety and quality, vintage salami slicers an attraction in their own right.
