This is not an actual Sixt rental office. One can return cars here and maybe it is possible to pick up a rental(?) but my experience is only with returning the car. It is not very clear what is the procedure, especially if you think you are returning the car at a Sixt rental office. To return your rental, follow the signs to the fourth floor of the parking garage and park the car in one of the Sixt parking spots. No instructions were provided to indicate that the car keys should be returned at the Intercity Hotel, but that is the procedure.
Beware of renting with Sixt: I reserved a car WITH A/C but did not realize until on the Autobahn that the A/C did not work. So if it is super hot - test the A/C before getting on the road to make sure it works. Sixt is supposed to test the A/C but obviously they did not do this.
Don’t have cars on the weekends.
