Das Wirtshaus

We discovered "Das Wirtshaus" by chance and asked for a free table for two. The place was probably fully booked. We only got a table because guests had reserved but didn't show up. And we loved it. My sister had the knuckle and I had the pub pan. We have rarely eaten as well as we did tonight. Just great.

Usually very nice service, food is really good, I would myself prefer more salt, but it is just me. Beer is actually awesome and tastes the way it should. Thank you.

Alrhougt the food is delicious, the service is a disaster. The waitress kept insisting that Pepsi is the same as Coke (we ordered Coke) and refused to change. She was rude and extremely impolite. Please pay attention to some basic service training for your staff.

Awesome Food, pricing very competitive, very close to Kiel's Center. We had Schweinshaxen and Sauerkraut, some Hefeweizen Beer, all in all perfect. Yes, the Restrooms are downstairs, but clean and who cares anyways? Service is friendly and prompt. The Interior is very rustic, clean, lots of large Windows.
