Like probably many, I wanted to pay tribute to the local retail trade two weeks ago and was unfortunately disappointed. I was looking for a book in the bookstore and was delighted that my visit to the shop while rummaging around put two new book requests on my inner wish list. What I was looking for was not there, but I was in no hurry. The saleswoman gave me hope that it would be ready for collection the next day. That's enough, great! The next day I was "guest" at the very sober and distant owner, asked about my order, named my name and the author ... helplessly questioning glances into the room, "which title?, When ordered" when should it be there his "Have you been confirmed that it should be there today?" Unfortunately I didn't remember the title correctly but a fragment and the author connected with my name should be enough ... Then finally she found it in a bunch of newcomers ... She then let herself slip away: "We need a little more information ..." Honest ! If such a small bookstore fails to keep a handwritten list that clearly shows the order from the previous day with the name of the customer, so that a colleague can read it and give the customer a little something of "nice to have with." can give us shopping "feeling, then the regional trade (for which the lady is of course certainly not representative) should not complain. With colleagues "A ....." you would be greeted in a friendly, albeit virtual, manner and you would get your ordered items and the expected arrival date and even the items last viewed at a glance ...

Heike loves books and her customers. You can also buy e-books through their shop and thus directly support an owner-managed business. I also always buy every e-book via the shop on Heike's website! Clear recommendation, because what are we without stories? 🤗

Unfortunately not satisfied ... needed a book for a child's birthday for the third time and no advice ... Just the hint: We can order what we don't have by tomorrow ... now I'm here today and I want to buy a book (what a unheard one Arrogance 🤓) and get no alternative ... What a shame!
