Very nice area. Simply pure nature. And worth seeing in any weather.

Really nice landscape. The monument is roughly in the middle of the heathland. But there is also a path further into the forest, which is also worthwhile. You should be able to hike up to the barrows, which I haven't done yet, although I've been there 3 times. I already found some porcini mushrooms there in autumn.
