I remember that day because I was traveling also by train. My ICE had to be rerouted. Such a memorial is important for survivors and society. Just rode by the memorial on ICE 73.

On the way through here I stopped because I can still remember the pictures in the news. In itself, the memorial is well designed and worthy of the victims, but unfortunately it does not bring the dead back either.
It leaves you pensive.
Very moving moment .....
Eschede, a place that probably hardly anyone knew until June 3, 1998.
