In advance-> I called Mr. Wehr in the morning whether the car would be available he said "yes". I asked about known defects or previous damage. The answer was "None known to him and not described in the offer" Were here to appraise a car and possibly buy it if you liked it. Mr Wehr only had a little time, which is why an inspection was possible, but a test drive should not have taken place until 2 hours later after his appointment. (During this brief assessment, Mr. Wehr then came up with a repainted rear door on the driver's side .. (Oops- Sorry- he probably forgot -> because this door was not mentioned under defects in the offer) .. -> So 2 hours later back on site and lo and behold, a test drive was not possible now because it was raining lightly and it was dark. (Apparently darkness and rain are a reason not to give a test drive) He also wanted to discuss the parameters before a test drive. (???) I accepted the parameters (mileage / price / condition / extras) that were in the online offer during this conversation. -> but unfortunately still no test drive possible because he is not sure that the 350km journey is enough as a serious purchase interest. I should come over again in 2 days (over 700km of travel routes to and from home for a test drive. (From here on I couldn't speak and I left the office) He wished me the best of luck and said he was sure that I would definitely find a good car ... (but unfortunately not with him ...) Today I would like to thank you for saving me from making a bad purchase at this dealer. (Imagine I would have to make a warranty claim, for example) Thank you Mr. Weir

Very nice advice without typical dealer tricks, the car was on site and ready for watching though fairly short notice. Highly recommended.
