Been there several times now. The cable of the driver's door broke the first time. As soon as people see that you are driving into the yard with a Smart, you can see from afar that you are not welcome there. The first thing you hear from the trained specialist staff: "The parts are hammwa nisch there, sometimes also nisch ran. You best have to order them from Mercedes yourself. But it doesn't get cheap either." The next workshop 700m further repaired the cable within 10min for 15 €. The second time, I was there with a flashing engine warning light. I was really happy that I was offered to check the car for errors, but do NOT say BEFORE that the error reading costs € 10 - is only requested AFTER the reading with a nice "Now give me the tattas". There are no alternatives, rough cost statements or any suggestions to repair the errors on the car. If you would like to experience unmotivated specialists in the wild, this is the place for you. Please understand it as a constructive criticism to make the service a little more customer-friendly. I know that we are here in Bochum and there are Ruhr pot originals like sand at the sea, but a little more friendliness has never harmed anyone and could help that customers come back. I have tried twice to no avail of their service, but will not try it a third time. My friends and acquaintances certainly don't either. The slogan could also help: "We won't repair your Smart because we don't feel like it." Then you know beforehand that the best thing to do is to go to another workshop.
