In Corona times, it is an absolute disaster with the visiting times and the measures imposed to protect against infection. As a new father you can visit your wife and child for a maximum of one hour between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. During labor you can wait in front of the door until the birth is actually imminent, and then be asked in or in front of the delivery room by phone, so you cannot provide any support. Here, the rules would have to be changed, especially for such events.

Intensive care unit. It's unbelievable what doctors and the team do there every day. Pure stress and yet everyone is very, very nice and even takes care of the relatives, I am absolutely enthusiastic about this station and would like to put my life in their hands if this should be necessary at some point.

Ich gebe der Kardiologie Station I-O 5 Sterne ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Diese Station ist hervorragend, ganz besonders hervorzuheben ist Dr. Mirza Mutallimov der sich in Idar- Oberstein bereit erklärte, daß er bei der Herz OP meines Vaters, Gerhard Schuch in Völklingen mit dabei ist. Er war auch dabei und besuchte meinen Vater sogar noch. Ein ganz großes Lob und Dankeschön den Ärzten und seinem Team in Idar- Oberstein und auch Völklingen. Ihr habt das prima gemacht ❤👍

First time on site, I can only say good things, Station 45 was very competent and super lovable. Dr. Grigor is a hammer doctor you can rely on. Second time unfortunately bad experience. Station 14 is an absolute nightmare, the most unfriendly, and the heaviest, and nobody is addressed. Wanted to release myself early and had to wait forever and was put under suspicion. No agreements were kept and my psyche was given another kick. So I wouldn't go again unless I could count on station 45.

The doctors are competent but the nursing staff is a catastrophe, very unfriendly. I would advise against anyone going to the hospital there.
