The underground car park is very centrally located at Bochumer Hbf and was modernized a few years ago. When entering, you have to be very careful in which area you want to enter. There is a traveler area with a daily rate and a normal area with an hourly rate. The travelers area is on the ground floor and the normal area is on basement floors 1-3. Level U4 is blocked. All levels can be reached barrier-free by elevator, but there is only an elevator in one stairwell. Outside of market hours, the Buddenbergplatz exit is closed and the stairwells are only accessible with a parking ticket. The pay machines are located on the ground floor (station level) and accept not only cash but also all common debit and credit cards. The harassment of homeless people and alcoholics at the entrance to the main station has increased very strongly. After all, the underground car park is guarded and there are emergency call facilities on every level. The charging stations for electric vehicles are also positive. You can charge your e-car here while parking.

Very confusing for newcomers, there is no signage for the exits and the pay machine. I was looking around and had to ask. Should be renovated and be much brighter. I have not seen women's parking spaces.
