Went in for a wheel balancing with the wish that the service was performed on the spot(they do advertise schnell dienst) and they accepted. I asked that the old balancing weights be removed and the old adhesive that held them as well be removed and cleaned, no problem said the man at the front desk, it is normal, it is how we do our job. Price was 48 euro considering all other autoshops performed the task of rebalancing with 10 euro per wheel. So more expensive....so i told him that i would pay the 50 euros with the request of me being there when the job is performed.(i know most is not all werkstadts do not allow you in the werkstadt wich is not at all reassuring but these are norms they employ to keep themselves stress free) they hesitated at first but they accepted. All good so far. I was asked to give the mechanic that was going to be doing the work my keys so that he could drive the car in the back where the werkstadt was. Found it was a bit odd because i could have brought the car myself but went along with it.The guy was wearing his work clothes normally and did not hesitate one bit to get in my car with cream alcantara seats without using some kind of protective covering. 1st giveaway that this was not going to go as advertised. So he lifted the car and took the rear wheels off and proceeded to get on with the work. They have a very basic balancing maschine. Ok , let this also slide.He took the old weights off and did not atempt to clean off the old glue from the weights so i told him to do so. ( i am also an auslander but i can speek ok german) he did not really understand what i wanted. He did not remove the old glue, just the weights.So i sat back a few more moments observing the process and the last straw was when he cleaned the spot where the new weights were going to be with a old dirty, oily cloth. Told him to stop what he is doing and just put my wheels back on the car paid him 5 euros for the trouble and left shocked that this kind of work goes on in some werkstadts. I can not rate any other service they offer but for the Räder auswuchten the service was very unprofessional. Would not recomend to anyone.
