Top Service
In Sept. 2019 have many works carried out on our Concorde.
We went to the workshop two months beforehand to discuss everything. A quotation was made and several adjustments were made afterwards because it was not completely clear to us and to them.
Response were good and fast and had a lot of confidence. We had received this company from a German Concorde driver who was satisfied with it.
1) installation of a new Webasto connected to the heat exchanger and Alde. There was also a remote control via an app. ordered on the iPhone. After two days we were told that the display in the Camper could not handle this and a new version had to be purchased. Ok 350 € extra. A day later we determined that a module was also needed in the Alde to maintain the temp. can be arranged via an app. Again 350 € and work. So you needed two systems to be able to use the Webasto properly remotely. The quotation was not provided for and not reported. Couldn't have done otherwise since part of it was already placed.
After four days, which was initially only two days in a hotel, we picked up our camper and tested it. We slept in our camper in the immediate vicinity and tested the Webasto. We were free without shore power and have 4x 160Ah. The Webasto went into alarm. The day after, back to the workshop. Search all day ??? In the evening report you have bad batteries (could be 5 years old) and that is the reason for the failure. They did not have the batteries in and it was Friday afternoon so they could no longer be delivered.
At home in Belgium to the dealer and four new batteries. Problem was not resolved. If the camper is not on shore power 220 volts, the Webasto would not work.
Then I went to a Webasto dealer in Belgium and they immediately saw that there was too little tension on the Webasto. Reason TOO THIN CABLE PULLED FROM THE BATTERY. had many problems and annoyance. And the costs of new batteries that were not really needed yet.
2) Hearing new flies and toilet seat with SOG failed after multiple attempts, incorrect deliveries and costs.
3) Mater alarm ok. Single section under the engine. I thought this was the whole 10.70m. would protections.
4) Major engine overhaul. Hopefully this happened. Everything was charged with filters and oil. But since new oil also had to be added to the rear axle. This was stated on the Dashboard. The alarm was gone but there was no oil on the bill.
In Belgium at Mercedes people saw that the oil
was not replaced. (the bolt hadn't been loose)
5) Inspection and maintenance of the gas installations, burner, refrigerator and guest test. We are now using our LPG bottles for the first time and there is a leak at a filter. Presumably by over-tightening, the repairer said in Spain today.
6) Automatic snow chains, there were two rubber wheels that needed to be replaced. This was very expensive for the rubbers only. 800 € but after insistence most of it was credited. A full set had been calculated.
7) On departure Friday evening. Alarm from the front fog lights. This was not there. They ran out of time and happened to say. And Belgium was found the problem after a few hours of searching.
Cable piece probably due to the installation of the Webasto. Cost again.
8) Compressed air connection. Not used yet.
9) two supports on the valves restored. OK
10) For the whole we paid € 8000 expensive and little service. You have to pay the full amount before you can test everything.
And yet we had a very good impression in the first contacts.
VERY REGULAR CASE for a Concorde repairer, Bosch center and Mercedes workshop.
DISPLEASED. Maybe we had a bad technician. 😥
In transit, the engine of my car no longer ran properly and various indicator lights came on. After doing a Google search, I came across Bosch Dienst Steitz. The workshop should be open until 6 p.m., but they didn't want to help me on site at 5:10 p.m. with the statement that the workshop would close soon ... Thanks for NOT helping!
Bad service!
NOT to be recommended at all !!!!
Very bad service. I had my injectors overhauled here. After installation, the engine makes noises. Despite several calls, the person responsible did not contact me. There is no response to e-mail. Absolutely not recommended.
Top service, reliable, fast, service-oriented and fair, I'll be happy to come back for further projects!
