Oberammergau is very under rated Bavarian village, mostly known for its passion play theatre but there is more to this beautiful village, stunning views of the mountains from Ammer river bank, beautiful German architecture and fairytale houses with fascinating artwork on the walls, one can spend a week exploring the village, this is an absolute gem.

Okay. This is where I truly would like to spend the rest of my life. Between the Metzkeri and the Bakery, the Church and Cemetery, the adornments of the buildings, the Alps that loom, the countryside a step away... This is my happy place.
