Strangely enough, if a lawyer is intellectually overstrained or too reluctant to spend two years doing his doctorate, but has to decorate himself for self-improvement with a PhD. In the Czech Republic and Slovakia, a university degree in law usually concludes with the degree of "doctor práv", abbreviated to JUDr. This is a doctoral degree, referred to as a "small doctoral degree", which is a doctoral degree, although it is not based on scientific research. This JUDr. is therefore not considered the Dr. in Germany. iur. equivalent, may not be listed as "Dr." before the name without addition and can not be registered in German identity cards and passports. In a case decided by the Administrative Court of Arnsberg in 2009, the applicant, a retired magistrate and lawyer in the district of the Higher Regional Court in Hamm, signed a contract with the Law Faculty of the Comenius University in Bratislava against a "cost recovery contribution" of € 4,500.00 plus $ 500 the security of the rigorosum and the defense of the doctor dissertation "closed. In this contract, the procedure for obtaining the law degree "doctor práv" was regulated by the applicant. One month and seven days later the applicant was given the title "doctor práv", abbreviated to "JUDr." After submitting a font with a German title and passing a "rigorous examination". awarded. After the applicant had applied for a confirmation that he was entitled as a doctor práv, the addition "Dr." The Ministry of Innovation, Science, Research and Technology, as the representative of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, prohibited him from leading the term "Dr." and ordered the immediate execution of the prohibition. (...) The permission to lead the "Dr." does not apply to doctoral degrees awarded without doctoral studies and procedures (so-called professional doctorates) and to doctoral degrees which, according to the legislation of the country of origin, are not assigned to the third level of the Bologna classification of degrees. According to the Slovak Higher Education Act, this degree does not correspond to the degree program leading to the acquisition of doctor práv. This divides higher education - apparently according to the Bologna classification - in three stages. The acquisition of "doctor práv" will be dealt with in the second stage. The "JUDr." also entitles the holder to a doctorate in Germany and therefore does not qualify for a German doctoral degree, which belongs to the third stage of the Bologna classification.

An absolutely competent lawyer who practices the profession as a vocation and who is really unbeatable on a human level. I couldn't believe what reviews are here. For example from a Mr. Hein. But if you look at how many good lawyers from Rosenheim this gentleman has only rated it with one star, you can quickly and emphatically read that the problems lie with the author of the reviews. A Wilhelm Pram has exactly the same text in his reviews ... Coincidence? I do not think so!
