Every halfway normal person with some intelligence has the gift of doing something good for another person without asking for anything in return. In the service sector this is called service. Unfortunately, that doesn't happen very often in today's world, but when you enjoy it, it sweetens your day and whether consciously or subconsciously, you would get this special feeling, which u. A. Is prepared by a warm service, want to experience repeatedly. This creates a win - win situation from which both parties benefit. What happened to me today in the Europcar branch in Lauf an der Pegnitz, however, can be described as the absolute opposite of service. I became aware of the extent of everything from the first step into the office, if you can call it that. Despite the early morning hour, I tried to say hello, which was answered with a hum by two older men. I felt like I was disturbing both of them over their morning coffee gossip. So Mr. nr1 quickly set about getting rid of me by processing my documents in no time at all. An A class was booked for an extra charge (I had 1,200km ahead of me that day and thought a little comfort wouldn't hurt), the gentleman only said briefly "We are not there, but can have a Hyundai i10 or Opel (a very small one) , to have." Completely puzzled, since I had neither a small apology nor the possibility for an update suggested, I emphasized the booking of the Compact Elite class (A class, a3, or an infinity) and that I insist on a similar vehicle. The employee then laughed cheekily in my face and said "No, we're not here". After this very unprofessional and extremely malicious answer, I was about to storm out of the "office", but since I had an important appointment and could not afford to look for another alternative, I agreed and made a decision for a Golf that I could see out the window. (with 0 equipment). I was expecting at least a discount or something like that, but only 6 euros were deducted (although I had paid a surcharge of 20 euros). Even now, 12 hours later, I find it difficult to forget this extremely negative event, whereupon I decided to write my first negative review ever in order to finally be able to find peace and to keep others away from this cruel experience. Do yourself a favor and take the slightly longer way to the Nuremberg branch and save yourself the ordeal for heart and soul.

A huge disappointment! At first I went to the Europcar branch in a good mood and looking forward to the trip north. However, this was abruptly tipped, as I quickly discovered that again the agreed-upon vehicle was not available. In itself, due to the current circumstances, no problem for me, but when the incompetent employees want to sell me a lower and cheaper vehicle class than the one I booked, the fun stops. When I asked why the booked vehicle is not available, I was cheekily laughed in my face and assured that there is no such vehicle at Europcar. After several snappy answers from the two employees and an annoying discussion, I was offered brazen vehicles even worse than the first. Because of my appointment, because I couldn't miss it, I still had to go defeated. No more!

Have rented a car at this station since last year. Tomorrow is the time again! Nice staff, good service. Even at short notice, it is always easy! Keep it up!!!
