Avis Car Rental Duisburg

Extremely rude personel. I made a reservation a week before I needed to pick up. I have walked in the office on the day of reservation without mask ( I forgot since in Denmark mask are not mandatory anywhere). SHE greets me that I have to go out immediately, and there is no renting car for me. I apologize I said will cover my face with shirt, she is almost yelling - "NO" at me. Then she sits behind of wall of plexiglas 2.5m long and wearing home made mask made of under clothes. She asks me for ID, licence and credit card. I give all the documents, she says my credit card is not valid - it is a debit car, "NO RENTING" she yelled. I offered cash or to bring credit card next day, she refuses everything there is no options for me. I had to go out without a car I made reservation a weeks before.

This is a very nice car renting agent. People are nice here. They care about the customers and the price is good for long term renting. The quality of the car is pretty good. Always new and in good condition. The most improtent is that the staff will not be picky when u return the car as long as u make resonable responsibility such as gas filling and cleaning.

Hardly any waiting time despite a holiday. Easy to find. Fast professional handling. Auto was a new car with many features. I am very pleased.
