Exceptional service especially from the hostess /manager on duty Dandy. She made me feel most comfortable and made my stay very enjoyable and I will definitely be coming back due to her hospitality. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud and was the best sleep ever after a long journey.
Very nice modern hotel down town Salzgitter. Has a good internet conection. The prices are Medium, not to chip but also not to expensive. Down is a cafe opened also for no hotel guests. The personel is very nice and polite. No long waiting times.
Very much the Wow factor!! A nice guy at reception took care of my every need, as did the Team in the Restaurant. It was a refreshing change that the Cook showed interest for my degree of satisfaction with my meal as he came to my table to ask. I was actually shocked that he was an original American... well done DORMERO keep up the good work!!!
Such a comfortable and welcoming stay. Dog friendly which is great for me and my family! Funny and enthusiastic manager!
Quite a disappointing experience. We were there for an evening meal. The decor falls somewhere between modern and spartan. The background music was ok, but there are large screens showing music videos which are silent and completely different to the music you are hearing which feels rather schizophrenic. The menu is short, and adds to the American diner feel. Prices were ok. It was a bit disconcerting when the waitress asked me if I really wanted a large portion of ribs, as the man at the next table found it to be really large. I took the risk. The ribs were actually quite good, and it was a large portion, but the steak my partner ordered was overcooked, and the fries would not have passed the quality control at the market-leading burger bar. To be honest we should have complained. The waitress appeared to believe that one beer was enough for me, and a couple of attempts to get her attention to order a second failed. It also took two requests for the bill to actually get it, and required a trip to the bar and a reminder ten minutes later. (The trade was only steady at the time). The restaurant staff clearly need some training. I might give the place another chance at some point, but that will probably only happen if everywhere else is full.
