Hotels in Germany are a bit expensive for someone doing a long distance bike tour but since the only camp ground in the area had already been closed for the winter (in early October) I ended up having no choice but to stay in what appeared to be the most reasonably priced hotel. Service was excellent and they provided a locked garage for the bicycle. The staff was very friendly and welcomed bicycle tourists.
Stayed there for 2 nights. Good and freindly staff. Excellent and affordable rooms. Very good breakfast. Very much close to Emden Main Train Station.
Durschnittliches Hotel.
The hotel is right at the train station. Rooms are simple and clean. The staff always has time for a friendly word. Breakfast is simple and good. Very tasty coffee ... 🙂
A simple hotel for the price. Friendly welcome, sufficient breakfast. The bed could have been a little better, is very soft and creaks very loudly. Large garage for bicycles available. All in all OK.
