The neo-gothic, three-aisled neo-gothic basilica was built in 1854-57 by the Cologne cathedral builder Vincenz Statz and the tower was expanded by the Kottenheim architect Caspar Clemens Pickel. Very nice overall system that animates to be amazed and linger.
