The old part of the church with beautiful wall paintings is Romanesque and dates from the 12th century. The three-aisled, neo-Gothic part was built from 1852-1857 by the famous Cologne architect Vincenz Statz. The organ is a Klais organ from Bonn. An absolutely worth seeing church ensemble.
