The hotel was easy to find, there were signs throughout the town, and it was well-located. The room was pleasant and, although the view was dominated by a building across the street, you could actually see the Festung Königstein from the window. Be prepared: The hotel is near a church and the bells tolled throughout the night and day. They weren't loud or anything, but some people (I'm looking at you Fred Willard) might find them maddening. The staff were great. Helpful, friendly, and willing to patiently listen to our broken German.

We spent four nights there. The food was very tasty. Very good Saxon cuisine and everything was freshly prepared by the chef himself including a rich breakfast. Friendly and courteous staff. The rooms were also comfortably furnished. Gladly again!

What can I say, the stay was a treat. A very cozy, family pension with an ideal location. Here you immediately feel at home. Everything was clean, great breakfast, we will be back!
